VIBRATION / SHOCK CONTROL DESIGN and ANALYSIS

LSI Engineering has engineered, designed and analyzed numerous electronic products that must operate reliably in the following environments: random and sine vibration, high impact and crash safety shock and earthquake shock and vibration. In particular, products are designed to pass the requirements specified in environmental test standards such as MIL-STD- 810, MIL-STD- 202, DO-160, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167, Bellcore and others. Most of the products designed are for military and commercial airborne and shipboard applications.

During the product design process, dynamic stress analysis is performed. The mechanical-structural design is validated, from pc boards and components to unit mounting, for the input vibration and shock levels. Both computer modeling and manual analysis techniques are used to substantiate the design. Listed below are some of the products that we designed for vibration and shock enviroments.

  • Airborne Radar Transmitters
  • Helicopter Air Speed Sensor
  • Helicopter Power Distribution Unit
  • Marine Depth Finder
  • Airborne and Submarine Power Supplies
  • Telecommunications Rack
  • Airborne GPS Unit
  • Air Drop Sensing Unit
  • A10 Aircraft ETH Antenna
